Freight Exports CoordinatorOur client is a multi-modal international freight forwarder delivering end-to-end supply chain solutions. They pride themselves on adding value through a bespoke, personal approach, supported by a strong global network and professional expertise.They are now recruiting for a Freight Forwarding Exports Coordinator to join their growing team at their Manchester site at the freight terminal at Manchester Airport The RoleYou will be responsible for managing the full export process, including: Handling bookings and preparing quotations Managing all aspects of air and sea freight documentation Liaising with airlines and shipping lines to obtain the best rates and book shipments Communicating with customers and providing shipment updates Arranging collections and coordinating transport Completing customs entries and clearances Using ASM Sequoia and Boxtop systems Liaising with overseas agents General freight forwarding and office administration RequirementsTo be considered, you must have: Previous experience in an Air Freight Exports role Experience working for a freight forwarder within a busy export department Ability to hit the ground running (training will be provided) Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments Strong PC skills High attention to detail Flexible and team-focused approach Benefits Salary: 28,000 - 35,000 circa (depending on experience) Pension Various ..... full job details .....
