Freight Customs Coordinator

Our client is a freight forwarding specialist who offers freight solutions by road, rail, sea and air through their many offices worldwide as well as through their solid network of agents and partners.We are now looking for a Freight Customs Coordinator to join the team based at their Manchester office in Trafford Park.Main responsibilities include Providing an outstanding level of customer service to both internal and external clientsCompleting both import and export declarations and other customs documentation using Descartes softwareHandling multi modal freight Ensure the accurate and timely processing of import and export customs declarationsEnsure correct payment of duty and VATManage post clearance actionExperience Ideally my client would like applying candidates to have 1-2 years experience in customs who they could further trainExperience from working for a freight forwarder in an customs freight roleExcellent communication skillsStrong attention to detailExceptional IT skillsAbility to work as part of a team or as an individualStrong organisational and time management skillsPackage and BenefitsSalary 27,000 to 32,000Hours are (Apply online only)hrs.
