Freight and Logistics Specialist

Freight and Logistics SpecialistWe are looking for an experienced Freight Forwarding Coordinator to manage air freight, sea freight and European road freight shipments from start to finish within a busy logistics operations team.This role is ideal for someone with strong multi-modal freight forwarding experience, excellent customer relationship skills and the ability to manage multiple shipments while maintaining high levels of accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesManage air, sea and road freight shipments from booking through to deliveryObtain and negotiate transport pricing with carriers and suppliersProduce shipping documentation including AWB, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin and EUR1sOperate internal freight and booking systemsManage shipment costings and reconciliationResolve operational and customer queriesProduce weekly and monthly operational reportsSupport and mentor junior team membersRequirementsExperience in freight forwarding operations (air, sea and road)Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and customs processesExcellent communication and relationship management skillsStrong numerical ability and attention to detailAbility to prioritise workload in a fast-paced logistics environmentIf you have experience in freight forwarding, logistics coordination or multi-modal transport operations, we would like to hear from you.New Appointments Group, Expertly Matching Employers and Jobseekers since 1975.Before submitting your CV, please take a moment to check the ..... full job details .....
