Freight Account Manager

Overview

Hexagon Recruitment are seeking an exceptional Freight Account Manager for a trusted client with an office in Central London.Responsibilities

Develop new and existing business.Handling all import and export sea freight operational aspects/queries from Customer, liaising with both external and internal customers and suppliers.Ensuring customers receive the very best service at all times, in line with agreed SOPs, and to ensure a smooth and efficient movement of goods to the Customer.Financial/Commercial

Make Payments to the shipping linesEnsuring files are fully costed and profitableRaising invoices to customers

Operational

Check that the shipping documents are present/in orderLiaise with shipping lines/overseas agents and other forwarding agentsEnsuring any queries are resolved as soon as possibleCheck the options re releases (Line Haul/Merchant Haul/Rail/Road)Arrange releases, PIN numbers and restitutionProviding prompt and professional Customer Service to all clientsGeneral AdministrationTelephone ..... full job details .....
