Vacancy: Freelance Site Manager Location: Nottingham Unite People are working alongside a specialist construction contractor to hire a Site Manager, focussing on managing trades and subcontractors on refurbishment of an live education building. Scope of works includes internal refurbishment, flooring, joinery work, decorating, MandE and window replacement. Weekend working is a possibility should the programme require. The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing works are carried out by trades staff and sub-contractors safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. You will ideally have experience of internal refurbishment, and public sector buildings would be a bonus. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing internal fitout of individual, specialist rooms including flooring, joinery and MandE packages. Use snagging software to record defects, quality issues and progress. Maintain high health and safety standards throughout Attend meetings with Site and Project management to discuss programme and progress.
