Freelance Lead Site Manager Main Contractor Plymouth £300-£400 per day PAYE JHR Recruitment is working with a well-established main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the South West. Due to continued growth and a secured pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Lead Site Manager to take responsibility for a key project in Plymouth. The Project You will lead the delivery of a £400k refurbishment to a commercial building within a high security military base in Plymouth. This is a fast paced, technically focused project including new MandE install. Requiring strong coordination, programme management, and attention to detail to ensure minimal disruption and high-quality execution. The Role As Lead Site Manager, you will take full site responsibility, reporting to a visiting contracts manager overseeing all site operations from start to completion. Key responsibilities include: Managing day-to-day site activities and subcontractors Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification Coordinating trades and managing site logistics on a live high security environment Driving quality standards and ensuring compliance with design requirements Monitoring progress and reporting to senior management Maintaining strong client relationships on site Ensuring all HandS procedures and company policies are adhered to About You Proven experience as a Site Manager / Lead Site Manager with a main contractor ..... full job details .....
