Freelance Site Manager - Blackpool

Your New Company

A growing North West principal contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee the refurbishment of a gym facility in Blackpool. The project involves a full internal strip-out back to brick, followed by the delivery of approximately -500k of M&E installations and refurbishment works. This is a freelance opportunity with an immediate start and work secured through to Christmas.

Your New Role

As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the project, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.

Duties will include:

• Managing all site operations from strip-out through to completion
• Coordinating subcontractors and M&E trades
• Maintaining health and safety compliance across site
• Delivering daily progress reports and site documentation
• Chairing site meetings and liaising with the client team
• Monitoring programme, quality and productivity
• Managing site logistics and material deliveries

What You''ll Need to Succeed

• Previous experience delivering refurbishment projects
• Strong understanding of M&E coordination
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and programmes
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Available to start immediately
