A specialist contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a complex refurbishment, demolition and enabling works project in Altrincham. This is a hands-on role requiring strong coordination skills and a visible presence on site.

Your new role

You will be responsible for managing works across two buildings. One building is undergoing structural modifications as part of a conversion into six apartments, while the second involves fa-ade retention, demolition of two storeys, preservation and recording of existing materials, followed by groundworks and piling operations.

Duties will include:

• Managing day-to-day site operations
• Coordinating subcontractors and site logistics
• Overseeing demolition, structural and groundwork activities
• Maintaining health & safety compliance
• Driving programme and quality standards
• Acting as the main point of contact on site

What you''ll need to succeed

• SMSTS
• CSCS Black Card
• First Aid at Work
• Previous experience managing refurbishment and structural alteration projects
• Experience with demolition, fa-ade retention and piling works
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to start immediately
