Freelance Site Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer to join a multi-billion-pound infrastructure programme that will shape the future of the UK''s transport network. This flagship project encompasses large-scale heavy civil engineering works, including highways construction, major structures, drainage networks, earthworks, and associated infrastructure.This is an exceptional opportunity to work on a nationally significant project alongside industry-leading professionals, utilising the latest engineering technologies and construction methodologies.The RoleAs a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of major construction packages, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.Key responsibilities will include:- Setting out and surveying works using modern surveying equipment and GPS technology.- Managing and overseeing construction activities across highways, structures, drainage, and heavy civils packages.- Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with design specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.- Producing and maintaining accurate site records, as-built information, and quality documentation.- Supporting subcontractors and site teams to achieve programme milestones.- Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.- Identifying and resolving technical issues on site in collaboration with design and construction teams.- Assisting with quality ..... full job details .....
