Day rate: -320 to -420 per day
Duration: Ongoing

We are hiring for Freelance Site Engineer''s for an upcoming civils scheme on a waste transfer centre in Preston.

Key Responsibilities of a Freelance Site Engineer:

• Manage and supervise day-to-day earthworks and civils activities ensuring works are completed safely and accurately in accordance to drawings and spec.
• Set out and monitor cut/fill levels, formation levels, platform levels, drainage etc
• Produce and maintain groundworks calculations
• Setting out externals works
• Work closely with the CM, PM, and SM, alongside subcontractors
• Maintain accurate site records

Experience Required for the Freelance Site Engineer:

• Proven experience as a site engineer
• Strong setting out experience using modern surveying equipment
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Experience working with subcontractors
• CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid (desirable not essential), engineering qualification.

Day rate/salary:

• Day rate flexible
• Weekly pay on a Friday
