Freelance Site Agent

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Freelance Site Manager / Site Agent on behalf of a reputable civil engineering contractor to work on an upcoming water infrastructure project near Rotherham. The initial multi-million scheme will encompass a wide-scope civils package including: drainage, ducting, re-enforced concrete, pumping stations and pipework. All works are part of a water treatment works upgrade, prior experience of Yorkshire Water sites is desired. Duration: Initial project programmed for 7 months. Plenty of further work across South Yorkshire so potential for ongoing extension. Duties: Manage project at setup and delivery stages Updating site documentation Involvement with contract changes: EW''s and CE''s Coordinate with stakeholders and client team on site Ensure site HandS is established and followed Liaison with Yorkshire Water Writing / updating RAMS Temporary Works supervision Management of direct labour Produce progress reports HSE documentation and site audits with client Keeping site folders up to date Experience required: Must have proven experience at Site Manager / Site Agent level leading heavy civils / water infrastructure projects (values 5m+) Site Engineer background is advantageous Industry related qualification is beneficial (HNC/HND or Degree) Must hold: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Temporary Works and Full Driver''s License Pay: A rate of up to 370 per day (doe).
