Location: London | Salary: £300 - £450/day | Type: Temporary | Our Client are an established fit out and refurbishment contractor based in London - due to several tenders coming in just before the Christmas break they need a freelance Estimator to price 2 -4million tenders for them.- Review architectural drawings, specifications and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. Undertake detailed quantity take-offs and pricing across all relevant trades, including partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, decorations and M&E. Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitive and commercially accurate tender submissions. Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, bills of quantities, tender pricing schedules and project budgets, including preliminaries, overheads and profit. Identify scope gaps, cost risks and opportunities for value engineering, providing practical solutions to improve cost efficiency. Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers to clarify tender requirements, manage queries and deliver accurate estimates within agreed deadlines.
