Our multidisciplinary team of consultants, architects, engineers, and ecologists collaborates to deliver tailored strategies across the built and corporate environment.We are looking to engage an experienced Freelance Ecologist to support our portfolio of projects on a flexible, project-by-project basis. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate on a range of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) and planning-led ecology work across the UK.Scope of WorkAs a freelance consultant, you will support the delivery of ecological services across a range of client projects. Typical scope may include: Carrying out ecological surveys (phase-specific and seasonal as required)Undertaking Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and metric calculationsPreparing BREEAM Ecology reports, planning reports, and supporting documentationAnalysing survey data and producing clear, high-quality technical reportsProviding design and planning advice to support development projectsManaging elements of project delivery, including coordination with our internal teamWork will be assigned based on project requirements, availability, and agreed timelines.
