The Freelance Driver Training role in Liverpool, offered on a contract basis through Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial, pays £150 per day. You will deliver half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions for PDT Fleet Training Solutions, primarily in category B vans on client premises. Duties include completing precise assessment reports promptly after each session. This position suits experienced fleet trainers, instructors, or assessors seeking flexible work. You will conduct classroom and on-road induction or upgrade courses across Great Britain for prestigious clients. Ideal candidates possess strong communication skills, a valid driving licence, and a professional manner. Prior experience in commercial driver training is essential.
PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.
As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:
Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.
The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).

We offer £105 for half day courses and up to £210 for full day Monday-Friday.
Weekend work is occasionally available at enhanced rates.
