The successful candidate will have at least one year''s experience in a management role within the hospitality and bar management. As a freelance bar manager, you will be responsible for a successful delivery of our client’s events, including client liaison and team management. Experience in front of house management is essential, along with a strong eye for detail and consistent presentation. Your performance within the company will be monitored by regular manager audits, meetings agreed event timeframes, achieving excellent guest satisfaction/feedback and employee quality and retention through positive onsite interaction.

Key Responsibilities

As Bar Manager, you''ll need to carry out some or all the following duties, depending on the size and type of event you will either assist with or run:Maintain an efficient bar and stock roomSupervise bar staff with the ability to motivate your teamResponsible for safe and secure handling of bar stocks, till operation and cashEnsure strict compliance with the venues Responsible Service of Alcohol PolicyPlace stock ordersInteract with customers (including serving food and drink) and ensure that high standards of customer service are maintainedmake sure you comply with health and safety regulations at all timesTill and counter serviceSupporting hospitality services and eventsMaintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in your area of concernMaintaining food safety and health and safety to meet legal and company requirementsHazard and defect reportingAble to lead and train the staff with a positive “can do” attitudeAbility to multitask and work in a busy, fast-paced and dynamic environmentExcellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills with a confident and outgoing personality and an ability to interact with people at all levelsFlexible hours and shiftsExciting locations across London and the surrounding areas
