FRA Works Officer

Salary: Up to circa £30 per hour Location: London Overview: We re looking for a proactive and knowledgeable FRA Works Officer to lead on the delivery of fire safety remedial works across a varied residential property portfolio. You ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with fire safety legislation and managing contractors to see FRA actions through from report to completion. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the delivery of remedial fire safety works, including fire doors, alarms, fire-stopping, signage, and emergency lighting Lead on the completion of Fire Risk Assessment actions across multiple residential sites Work closely with contractors to issue work orders, monitor quality and compliance, and ensure timely delivery Maintain accurate records of completed actions, certifications, and compliance documentation Liaise with housing officers, residents, and external stakeholders to provide technical guidance and updates Ensure adherence to current legislation, health and safety policies, and internal procedures What We''re Looking For: A qualification in fire safety (such as a Level 3 or 4 Fire Risk Assessment certificate) or demonstrable experience in a similar role Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation, regulations, and building safety compliance Experience managing contractor performance and fire safety works across housing portfolios Confident communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively across internal teams and ..... full job details .....
