Fire Risk Assessor (FRA Surveyor) North LondonSalary: £48,000 car package Location: North London (based), with travel across Greater London as requiredAbout the roleWe re looking for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join our team, carrying out fire risk assessments and surveys across a varied portfolio of social housing properties. You ll be based in North London, covering your local area day to day, with travel to other parts of London when the work requires it.Key responsibilitiesCarry out Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) on residential blocks and communal areasInspect and report on passive fire protection, including fire stopping and compartmentationSurvey loft spaces, identifying breaches and defects in compartmentationAssess fire doors, including flat entrance doors and communal doors, for compliance and conditionProduce clear, accurate reports with prioritised actions and recommendationsLiaise with housing providers, contractors and internal teams on findings and remedial worksKeep up to date with current fire safety legislation and guidanceEssential experienceProven experience in passive fire protectionStrong knowledge of compartmentationExperience surveying loft spacesExperience assessing fire doorsBackground working within social housingFull UK driving licence, and willingness to travel across LondonDesirableRecognised fire risk assessor qualification (e.g. IFE, NEBOSH Fire, or equivalent)Membership of a relevant professional body or accreditation schemeWhat we ..... full job details .....
