RESOURCING GROUP IS CURRENTLY WORKING WITH A FRA CONTRACTOR SEEKING AN EXPERIENCE SITE MANAGER

Job title: FRA Site Manager

Location: Birmingham

Salary Range: -2830 per hour

Contract Type: 3 Months ongoing with temp to permanent opportunity

Monday to Friday

8am-4:30pm.

Key Responsibilities for FRA Site manager role:

• Manage daily site operations and supervise subcontractors and site teams
• Conduct and review Fire Risk Assessments (FRA)
• Oversee installation and remediation of Passive Fire Protection (PFP) systems including:
  • Fire doors (installation, upgrades, and replacements)
  • Fire stopping and penetration sealing
  • Compartmentation works
  • Structural fire protection systems
• Manage and deliver remediation works, including:
  • Fire safety defect rectification
  • Non-compliant installation corrections
• Ensure all works comply with fire strategy documents, building regulations, and industry standards
• Coordinate inspections, audits, and third-party certifications
• Maintain detailed compliance records and site documentation
• Enforce strict health & safety procedures
• Liaise with clients, consultants, residents, and regulatory authorities
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards

Key Requirements for FRA Site manager role:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager
• Demonstrable experience in Fire Risk Assessment
• Strong working knowledge of Passive Fire Protection systems
• Proven experience managing fire safety remediation projects
• Understanding of current fire safety legislation and compliance requirements
• SMSTS certification
• Valid CSCS card
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to interpret fire strategy documents and technical drawings
