FRA Site Inspector: About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented FRA Site Inspector to join our growing fire safety consultancy team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in fire risk assessment, building inspections, and fire safety compliance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, including high-rise residential and complex building developments. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering fire safety inspections, risk assessments, and technical advice to clients while supporting compliance with current fire safety legislation and building regulations. Key Responsibilities Conduct site visits and inspections, preparing detailed technical and site inspection reports. Undertake Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) across a range of building types. Prepare Fire Risk Appraisals of External Walls (FRAEWs) in accordance with PAS 9980. Provide clear, practical, and technically sound fire safety advice to clients. Review building construction details, drawings, elevations, and design documentation. Attend client, contractor, and design team meetings to support compliance with Building Regulations. Apply guidance from Approved Document B, BS 9999, BS 9991, and other relevant fire safety standards. Support clients in meeting their obligations under the Building Safety Act and associated legislation. Contribute to the delivery of consultancy projects and maintain strong client relationships.
