FPGA Engineering Manager

We are looking for an FPGA Engineering Manager to lead a team working on advanced FPGA-based technology. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with team management, overseeing the development of complex products from initial design through to production.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of FPGA and digital design engineers while driving technical excellence and performance
• Providing technical direction across FPGA architecture, RTL design, simulation, synthesis, timing closure and hardware validation
• Working closely with Systems, Software, Hardware and Verification teams to define requirements and deliver integrated solutions
• Owning FPGA project execution, including planning, estimation, scheduling, risk management and delivery
• Developing design standards, verification methodologies and IP reuse strategies while supporting the continued development of FPGA engineering capability

The ideal candidate will have:

• 10+ years of FPGA or digital hardware design experience, including 3-5 years in a technical leadership or management position
• A proven track record delivering complex FPGA systems from concept through to production
• Strong experience with RTL design, simulation, synthesis and timing analysis, including VHDL, Verilog or SystemVerilog
• Strong knowledge of high-speed interfaces, DSP, control logic, image processing and hardware-software co-design
• Excellent technical leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams
