As the FPGA Design Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry. Due to the nature of the work you will be involved in, you will be required to obtain UK SC clearance in this role. You will be involved in:Generating complex FPGA architectures and design implementations (VHDL, Simulink etc), targeting Xilinx, Intel, Microsemi devicesVerifying complex FPGA implementations using VHDL and System Verilog\UVM test-bench methodologiesUsing FPGA design toolsets and Mentor verification tools (QuestaSim and ModelSim)Generating low-level software (C) to facilitate FPGA test and integration with the wider embedded systemConfiguring and Documenting designs to a high professional standardWorking as part of a multidiscipline team to deliver complex FPGA based projectsYour skillset may include:Degree qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience in FPGA developmentCompetent VHDL Language and Design SkillsCompetent Verification Skills using VHDL and ..... full job details .....
