FPandA Manager

Marc Daniels are working with a fast-growing, PE owned Infrastructure business to appoint an FPandA Manager. As FPandA Manager you will be responsible for creating the FPandA capability from the ground up, designing the processes, systems, reporting frameworks and team structure required to support a fast-growing business. You will act as a strategic business partner to senior stakeholders, providing insight, challenge, and guidance to support key commercial decisions. Key Responsibilities Owning the group / business unit PandL view, including monthly management reporting, commentary and insight into drivers of revenue, gross margin, opex, capex and profitability. Leading the budgeting and forecasting process - designing the calendar, templates and methodology for annual budgets, rolling forecasts and long-range plans. Producing regular forecasts (e.g. monthly/quarterly) and updating outlook for revenue, costs, cash and key operational metrics in collaboration with department heads. Performing detailed variance analysis (actual vs budget/forecast/prior year), identifying root causes and translating these into clear narratives for senior stakeholders. Building and maintaining financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment cases, headcount planning and scenario analysis. Developing and tracking KPIs and performance dashboards that give visibility on commercial performance across the business.
