FPandA, Cash and Investment Strategy Specialist

Partnered with a Family Office Investment Group who are seeking a senior FPandA, Cash and Investment Strategy Specialist to partner closely with the CFO. This opportunity places you at the heart of groupwide cash generation, deployment, and optimisation, blending treasury, market analysis, investment assessment, and strategic planning. Unlike traditional FPandA or PE roles, this position focuses on forward-looking strategy and interpretation rather than routine transaction processing.What you''ll do:Maintain an overarching view of groupwide cash inflows and outflows, identifying short-term users, medium-term breakeven points, and long-term generators across business units.Assess whether the group is correctly capitalised for both stability and growth by analysing surplus cash deployment strategies including yield-focused credit options and equity investments.Deconstruct existing and prospective investments to understand true return drivers beyond mechanical model outputs, comparing opportunities across corporate bond, credit, and equity markets.Interpret interest rate volatility, credit spreads, and FX exposures to translate market movements into actionable group-level implications.Support reviews of external investment managers by assessing activities for consolidation, reduction, or potential in-house trading capability development.Evaluate alignment of the current portfolio with the group''s three-to-five-year strategic plan by identifying steady-state assumptions and ..... full job details .....
