FPandA Analyst

The FPandA Analyst will play a key role supporting the delivery of high-quality financial insight, planning, and reporting across the business. Working closely with the Finance Director, Financial Controller and senior stakeholders the successful candidate will help drive commercial decision making through robust financial modelling, variance analysis, and business partnering.Client DetailsThis business is a well known sports brand based in Wigan. They have a collaborative and supportive working environment and will provide training and mentoring.DescriptionThe successful FPandA Analyst will: Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles, consolidating inputs from business units into accurate financial plans. Build and maintain detailed financial models to support planning assumptions, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing. Assist in the preparation of long-range financial plans aligned to the company''s strategic objectives. Work alongside the Financial Controller to produce timely, accurate monthly management accounts packs. Analyse revenue and cost trends to identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to senior management. Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting to support operational and commercial decision-making. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and modelling to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
