Your new companyA leading organisation based in Shropshire is now seeking an experienced FPandA Manager to provide financial leadership and business partnering support to its UK manufacturing operation. Working closely with operational leaders and cross-functional teams, this role will drive financial insight, planning, performance improvement, cost control, inventory management and operational decision-making across the manufacturing environment.Your new roleManufacturing Performance and Business Partnering Partner with operational leadership teams to support performance reviews, forecasting, action planning and business decision-making. Provide financial insight into manufacturing performance, operational costs, inventory levels, backlog, risks and opportunities. Support monthly performance reviews, explaining variances and recommending corrective actions. Develop and maintain operational scorecards and KPI reporting. Support transformation and continuous improvement initiatives through financial analysis and benefits tracking. Build strong relationships across manufacturing, supply chain, service and commercial functions. Forecasting, Budgeting and Planning Support forecasting and budgeting activities covering labour, overheads, materials, inventory and cost of goods sold. Work with operational stakeholders to understand capacity, productivity, efficiency, backlog and production assumptions. Challenge assumptions and identify risks and opportunities.
