Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit Production Operatives to work in their Foundry to assist in the aluminium investment casting process. As a Foundry Production Operative your main duties will include: Aluminium melt preparation prior to casting Cleaning and preparing moulds for casting Pouring molten metal into the moulds (casting) Moving moulds following casting Removing the ceramic shell from the finished cast Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders The ideal Foundry Production Operative will have: High degree of physical fitness. This is a strenuous role with a high degree of manual handling. Experience in a Manufacturing/Factory/Production/Construction environment. A good work ethic, A good level of physical coordination Excellent time keeping skills.
