Foundry Operative - Stacker

We are currently recruiting a Foundry Operative - Stacker to join a busy foundry in the Congleton area. This is a temp-to-perm role offering structured rotating shifts and long-term opportunities for the right candidate.
 
Working Hours:

• Week 1: Monday to Thursday – 06:00 to 18:00
• Week 2: Monday to Wednesday – 18:00 to 06:00

Key Duties of this Foundry Operative – Stacker role:

• Stacking and organising castings and materials safely
• Manual handling of products in line with site procedures
• Supporting production and finishing processes within the foundry
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe
• Carrying out quality checks and reporting any defects or issues
• Following all health & safety guidelines at all times

Skills & Experience Required for this Foundry Operative – Stacker role:

• Previous experience working in a foundry, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environment preferred
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
• Comfortable working day and night shifts on a rotating pattern
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Details of this Foundry Operative – Stacker role:

• £12.76 per hour plus shift allowance
• Rotating shift pattern with built-in rest days
• Temp-to-perm opportunity after a successful probation period
• Ongoing work in a stable foundry environment
• Location: Congleton
