Job title: Foundry OperativeLocation: GloucesterPay rate: £13.27 upto £16.50Contract: Temporary to Permanent Gap Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a highly respected Gloucester-based manufacturer specialising in high-grade aluminium casting alloys, master alloys, and grain refining products, all produced to internationally recognised specifications.We are currently looking for Foundry Operatives to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with training, progression opportunities, and excellent benefits.The RoleWorking within a small team, you will be responsible for: Safely operating Gas-Fired and Induction Melting equipmentCasting finished products using automated casting machineryFollowing written melt instruction sheets accuratelyMaintaining high standards of health and safetyWorking in a physically demanding manufacturing environmentFull training and supervision provided Shifts AvailablePermanent Days Monday to Thursday6:00am - 6:00pm46 hours per week Permanent Nights (once fully trained) Sunday to Wednesday6:00pm - 6:00am46 hours per weekAdditional night shift allowance paid Pay and Benefits - applies only once become permanent member £13.27 per hour Upto £16.50 per hour on night shift once fully trainedProgression opportunities into supervisory rolesRegular overtime availablePension Scheme (Auto Enrolment)Company Life Insurance SchemeNo working on Bank HolidaysFlexible break times managed by supervisors What We''re ..... full job details .....
