Exciting opportunity for a Foundry Operative to join our manufacturing client in South Molton to support their production team in their finishing department. Job Title: Foundry Operative - Finisher Job Type: Full Time; Temporary Ongoing Location: South Molton Hours: Mon - Thurs 8:00am - 4:45pm and Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm (can progress to rotating shifts) Pay: £12.87 per hour + Shift Allowance Rotating Shifts: Mon - Thurs 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and Friday 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM (15% shift premium) Mon - Thurs 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Friday 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM (25% shift premium) About our client: This is a power management company doing business in more than 175 countries. About the Foundry Operative role: As a Foundry Operative (Finisher) you will be accountable for preparing castings for the heat treatment process and the final blast of components before their release into stock. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure our products meet the highest standards. Responsibilities of the Foundry Operative: Precision Finishing: You will expertly knock out moulds to remove shells post the casting operation and perform water blasting of moulds to remove shell material, enabling the band saw operations to commence smoothly.
