Foundry Operative / Stacker
Pertemps Stoke are currently recruiting for a Foundry Operative / Stacker to join a well-established and busy foundry based in Congleton. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term employment with a company that offers stability, structured shifts, and the opportunity to gain a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
As a Foundry Operative / Stacker, your duties will include:

• Stacking and organising castings and materials safely and efficiently

• Supporting production and finishing processes within the foundry

• Carrying out manual handling duties in line with site procedures

• Conducting visual quality inspections and reporting defects

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

• Adhering to all company health and safety procedures

• Assisting with general foundry and production duties as required

Skills and Experience Required for this Foundry Operative Role
The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience within a foundry, manufacturing, production, or heavy industrial environment (preferred)

• Be comfortable carrying out manual handling duties

• Be able to work rotating day and night shifts

• Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Demonstrate good attention to detail

• Be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

• Work effectively as part of a team

Details of this Foundry Operative role:
Location: Congleton
Pay Rate: £12.76 per hour (Days) | £16.02 per hour (Nights)
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Shift Pattern: Rotating Days and Nights
Working Hours: Week 1, Monday to Thursday 06:00 – 18:00
Week 2, Monday to Wednesday, 18:00 – 06:00
Opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful probation period
