Foundation SEND Lecturer

Location: Harrow Contract: Full Time, (Temporary on going / extension and going permanent) Pay: £35+ per hour (Inclusive of Holiday pay) We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Foundation SEND Lecturer to support learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a Further Education setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment and helping learners develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed for their future success. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to learners with SEND across Foundation and Supported Learning programmes. Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and differentiated lessons to meet a range of learning needs and abilities. Deliver and embed Functional Skills English and Maths within the curriculum. Support learners to achieve their individual learning goals and EHCP outcomes where applicable. Monitor, assess, and track learner progress, providing timely feedback and support. Create a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment that promotes learner engagement and achievement. Work collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants, curriculum teams, parents/carers, and external agencies. Promote learner independence, personal development, employability skills, and preparation for adulthood. Maintain accurate learner records and contribute to quality assurance processes.
