The role is office-based in Basildon. The caseload of each supervising social worker in the team is about 10 - 12 carers. There will be 5 supervising social workers which you will be responsible to line manager. The team has 13 staff in total. You must be a driver and have access to a car to be eligible for this role. The role is autonomous and you can organise your own schedule.Responsibilities of the Fostering team manager:Work closely with the Service Manager to help shape the serviceDriving forward carer recruitment and retention initiativesContinue to build an established fostering teamTravel required for Operational area meetings, support groups and training eventsRequirements:Must be a driver and have access to own carMust have recent experience working as a team manager or assistant team manager, or experienced senior practitioner who is looking to step up.Please send your CV ..... full job details .....
