Are you passionate about supporting children and families? Do you thrive in a community-focused environment? Our client is looking for a dedicated Mockingbird Liaison and Recruitment Worker to join their dynamic Children''s Services - Fostering team!

What''s the Role?
In this engaging position, you will help foster carers feel connected and supported while running the Mockingbird Programme and Redbridge Pod Programme. Your mission? To create a nurturing environment for foster families and recruit new carers through community outreach!

Key Responsibilities:

Support Foster Carers:

- Maintain regular contact with Hub Home Carers and Pod Pals.

- Monitor engagement and promote well-being among carers.

Coordination & Communication:

- Act as a vital link between fostering teams and social workers.
- Share updates and produce monthly performance reports.

Activities & Events:

- Organise meetings, training sessions, and fun group activities.

- Manage logistics for events like bookings and transport.

Recruitment & Outreach:

- Promote fostering within the community by building relationships with schools, faith groups, and local organisations.
- Attend events and support marketing initiatives.

What We''re Looking For:

Experience:

- Working with children or families, coaching, and handling sensitive situations.

Skills:

- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong organisational skills and creativity.
- Good IT proficiency, especially with reports and Microsoft tools

Personal Qualities:

- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour.

- Committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Additional Requirements:

Must drive with own vehicle

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when needed.
