Formwork Design Technician Salary & Benefits
- Salary: -30,000 - -45,000 depending on experience.

Formwork Design Technician Job Overview
- Produce design drawings, calculations and material call-offs under supervision.
- Carry out self-checks before passing designs to the Team Leader for approval.
- Check preliminary drawings from other team members when requested.
- Develop CAD skills and adopt the latest design office software and techniques.
- Liaise with sales teams and clients as required by Team Leader/Senior Engineer.
- Attend site visits and provide on-site assistance where needed.
- Maintain knowledge of industry standards, construction techniques and company products.
- Assist with the training of formwork trainees in the team.
- Undertake continuous professional development and training as directed.
Formwork Design Technician Job Requirements
- Minimum HNC/HND in Civil Engineering; Civil Engineering degree preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D essential; Revit and structural analysis software is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within temporary works/formwork design.
- Awareness of formwork, falsework and geotechnical systems an advantage.
