Forklift/Yard op

My client is currently recruiting for a Forklift driver/Yard Operative, you''ll be essential in keeping the yard running smoothly. From loading and unloading goods to helping customers and maintaining a clean, safe environment - you''ll be right at the heart of the operation.

You will work Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00 with a 30 minute break 40 hours paid per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently (counterbalance)
• Loading/unloading customer and supplier vehicles
• Picking and preparing orders for delivery
• Providing excellent customer service in the yard
• Ensuring the yard is kept tidy and safe at all times

• A valid forklift license (essential)
• Previous yard, warehouse or builders'' merchant experience (preferred)
• Good level of physical fitness - this is an active role
• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
