Applicants who currently hold SC clearance or have previously held SC will be of particular interest.Role Overview Based at our client s facility in Bedford, this role supports the efficient operation of the stores and logistics function. The position involves the safe operation of a forklift truck, moving equipment and materials across site, and assisting with general warehouse activities.Applicants must have demonstrable experience operating a forklift truck.Key Responsibilities Support warehouse management to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the stores function Operate a forklift truck to safely move equipment and materials around the site Assist in maintaining accurate stock control and logistics processes Maintain competency across all aspects of logistics operations, including IT systems and materials handling equipment (MHE) Support colleagues and provide on-the-job guidance where required Demonstrate a customer-focused, proactive approach to meeting operational requirements Be flexible and willing to support other areas of the organisation as business needs require Undertake tasks within safe levels of competence Identify opportunities to improve processes, working practices, and team efficiency Skills and Experience Forklift truck driving experience (essential) Security Clearance (SC) held previously or currently is highly ..... full job details .....
