FORKLIFT SERVICE ENGINEER
We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer on a full time and permanent basis for our Loughborough based client.
Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Loughborough and surrounding areas
Salary: Circa -35K per annum DOE

The Field Service Engineer will be working across customer sites. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault finding and repairing a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment. You will represent the business on site, delivering a professional, reliable and customer-focused service.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
- Carry out diagnostics, fault finding and breakdown repairs across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance to a high standard.
- Provide clear updates to customers and ensure excellent customer service at all times.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete job reports.
- Manage vehicle stock, tools and parts efficiently.
- Work safely and in line with company procedures and health and safety requirements.
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience as a forklift engineer, plant engineer, HGV technician, agricultural engineer, powered access engineer or similar.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
- Hydraulic and electrical knowledge would be beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
