Forklift Service Engineer

Forklift Service Engineer | Yeovil | Up to £42,000 per year

As a Forklift Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and delivering planned maintenance across the forklift fleet
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on side loading forklifts
• Liaising with Operations and Logistics Managers to plan maintenance effectively
• Anticipating machine failures and preventing recurrence
• Managing spare parts stock and ordering as required
• Maintaining accurate written service and maintenance records

As a Forklift Engineer, your experience will include:

• At least 2 years'' experience as a mechanic
• Experience with side loaders, forklifts and/or plant maintenance
• Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic understanding
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Forklift driving certificate (desirable)
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
