Forklift OperatorLocation: Exeter, EX5gap personnel are currently recruiting for a Forklift Operator to join a busy and expanding warehouse operation based at Greendale Business Park, Exeter.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business offering excellent working hours, great benefits, and a supportive team environment. The role is varied and hands-on, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse setting.Key ResponsibilitiesOperating Counterbalance forklift trucks to load and unload goods into racking and bulk storage areas.Assisting with unloading shipping containers, including ramp and loose-loaded containers.Recording pallet movements accurately using handheld scanners and warehouse paperwork.Picking, packing and preparing customer orders.Maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.Liaising with the Storage Supervisor regarding deliveries and collections.Supporting stock control and inventory activities.Working independently to prioritise and complete daily tasks.Undertaking additional warehouse duties as required to support the wider operation.What We''re Looking ForA valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential.Pivot Steer experience is advantageous, although full training will be provided.Previous experience within a racked and bulk storage warehouse environment is desirable.Physically fit and comfortable undertaking a manual, active role.Excellent attention to detail and organisational ..... full job details .....
