Warehouse Operative - Forklift Licensed (Supervisory Duties)

Location: Hounslow
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Job Type: Full-time / Permanent
Salary: -30,000 per annum

The Role

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our client''s busy warehouse team. This is a hands-on role involving pick and pack, forklift operation, and supporting supervisory responsibilities to help keep the warehouse running smoothly.

Key Duties

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately
• Preparing goods for dispatch (labelling, wrapping, checking items)
• Loading/unloading deliveries and moving stock safely
• Operating a forklift truck (valid licence required)
• Using warehouse systems/scanners and basic computer work
• Supporting the supervision of warehouse staff and daily task allocation
• Assisting with training new team members and maintaining standards
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and well organised

Requirement

• Previous warehouse experience (pick & pack essential)
• Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance)
• Computer literate (warehouse systems, scanners, email, basic spreadsheets)
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
• DBS (basic) Check
• A positive attitude with the confidence to support and guide others
