Forklift Operative

Right Now Group are seeking an experienced Forklift Operative for a leading global logistics provider based in Langley. This role is essential to the smooth running of warehouse operations, involving the handling, storage, and distribution of goods using forklifts. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting inbound and outbound processes, maintaining accurate stock control, and ensuring that all tasks are completed in line with company procedures and health and safety regulations.Duties and responsibilities of Forklift Operator:Safely and efficiently operate counterbalance forklifts in line with company policies and health and safety standardsLoad, unload, move, and stack materials, goods, and productsCarry out daily visual safety inspections of forklift equipment and report any faultsAccurately complete warehouse documentation and support inventory control proceduresAssist with picking, packing, labelling, and general warehouse duties when requiredMaintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment alwaysCovering supervisory duties Booking in freight Screening freight The successful candidate:Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB / ITSSAR accredited or equivalent)Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environmentStrong understanding of warehouse health and safety practicesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills and accurate record-keeping2 years experience dealing ..... full job details .....
