Resident Forklift EngineerHowden, East Yorkshire (DN14)£32,000 - £47,000 + Excellent BenefitsWe are currently recruiting for a Resident Forklift Engineer to join one of our established clients based in Howden (DN14).This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected organisation offering a competitive salary of £32,000 - £47,000, depending on experience, along with an attractive benefits package and long-term career prospects.The role is available on either a 40-hour or 42-hour working week, Monday to Friday.The RoleAs a Resident Engineer, you will be based full-time at a customer site, taking responsibility for the servicing, maintenance and repair of a fleet of forklift trucks and material handling equipment.You will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and maintaining high levels of operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across the fleet.Perform reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs.Update maintenance schedules and service records using the CMMS system.Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement.Liaise closely with customer stakeholders regarding breakdowns, fleet availability and reliability.Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong working relationships on-site.Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.About ..... full job details .....
