AR889 Forklift EngineerLocation: GlasgowSalary: £37,000 - £40,000 + Overtime + BenefitsOverview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Forklift Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to long/short term machines and customers owned equipment. Ensuring best practice with quality and professionalism are met at all times and to maintain customer satisfaction.Our client strongly encourages applications from ex-military personnel however, all candidates will be considered.Duties and Responsibilities: Service, maintain, and repair forklift trucks and materials handling equipment (MHE / plant)Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on-siteComplete job sheets, service reports, and tablet-based documentationMaintain company vehicle, tools, and van stockProvide excellent customer service and build strong client relationshipsIdentify additional service or repair opportunitiesParticipate in standby/on-call rotaFollow all health and safety procedures Skills and Qualifications: Experience as a Forklift Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Mobile Engineer / Plant Engineer / HGV Technician or similarStrong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skillsExperience working on forklift trucks or materials handling equipment (highly desirable)Full UK driving licenceGood communication and customer service skills Location: GlasgowSalary: £37,000 - £40,000 + Overtime + ..... full job details .....
