Mobile Forklift Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Materials Handling Engineer / FLT Engineer / Plant Engineer

Location: Based near Lutterworth (daily depot reporting)
Salary: -35,000 - -40,000 DOE + Overtime
Hours: 8.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join our growing team, based near Lutterworth. This field-based role would also suit candidates currently working as a Field Service Engineer, Materials Handling Engineer, FLT Engineer, or Plant Engineer with forklift experience.

The Role

• Service, maintenance, diagnostics and repair of forklifts and materials handling equipment
• Working on brands such as Heli, Toyota and similar
• Mobile, field-based role with national travel
• Potential overnight stays when required
• Reporting to the depot daily
• Delivering high levels of customer service and maintaining safety standards

Hours & Overtime

• 8.5-hour working day, Monday to Friday
• 1 hour before and 1 hour after shift paid at time and a quarter
• Anything beyond that and Saturdays paid at time and a half
• Sundays paid at double time

Requirements

• Experience as a Forklift Engineer / Materials Handling Engineer / FLT Engineer / Plant Engineer
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel nationally with occasional overnight stays
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
