Forklift Engineer

Location: Leicester / Nottingham areaSalary: £38,000-£40,000, depending on experienceHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pmEmployment Type: Permanent About the Role We are looking for an experienced Forklift Engineer to join a well-established and growing family-run material handling business. The company is looking for a good, reliable engineer with solid experience who wants to join a friendly team and build a long-term career within the business. There are opportunities for Mobile Forklift Engineers across the Leicester, Nottingham and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults. Work on electric, diesel and LPG equipment. Carry out planned servicing and maintenance. Complete service reports and paperwork. Maintain good relationships with customers and colleagues. Keep tools, vehicles and equipment clean and well maintained. Work safely and follow company procedures. Workshop Engineer Based at the company''s North Nottinghamshire / Mansfield-area workshop. The work is mainly planned and booked in advance, with engineers carrying out servicing, repairs and fault-finding on a range of forklift equipment. Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm with a one-hour break. Mobile Engineer Covering customers across the Leicester, Nottingham, Peterborough and wider Midlands areas.
