Forklift Engineer

Location: ChelvestonSalary: £34,000 - £38,000 DOE + Company Vehicle + Overtime + PensionA growing materials handling business is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join its team. This is a field-based role servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment across a local customer base.The RoleService, maintain and repair forklift trucks and MHE.Diagnose and fault-find mechanical and basic electrical issues.Attend customer sites within approximately a 50-mile radius.Work to a planned schedule of servicing and maintenance.Complete service reports and manage van stock accurately.Follow all Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices.RequirementsPrevious mechanical engineering/service and maintenance experience.Forklift or materials handling experience is desirable.Engineers from a strong mechanical background looking to develop within MHE will also be considered.Basic electrical fault-finding knowledge is beneficial.Full UK driving licence.Package£34,000 - £38,000 salary DOECore working hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to FridayCompany vehicle and tools/equipment.Regular overtime available.Full product training.Pension scheme.Career development opportunities.No regular weekends or nights out.Field-based role with a varied range of equipment.Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of ..... full job details .....
