Forklift Engineer

Location: Chelveston Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 DOE + Company Vehicle + Overtime + Pension A growing materials handling business is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join its team. This is a field-based role servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment across a local customer base. The Role Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and MHE. Diagnose and fault-find mechanical and basic electrical issues. Attend customer sites within approximately a 50-mile radius. Work to a planned schedule of servicing and maintenance. Complete service reports and manage van stock accurately. Follow all Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices. Requirements Previous mechanical engineering/service and maintenance experience. Forklift or materials handling experience is desirable. Engineers from a strong mechanical background looking to develop within MHE will also be considered. Basic electrical fault-finding knowledge is beneficial. Full UK driving licence. Package £34,000 - £38,000 salary DOE Core working hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday Company vehicle and tools/equipment. Regular overtime available. Full product training. Pension scheme.
