FORKLIFT DRIVER / WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

Job title: Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative

We are recruiting an experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team. This is a hands-on role for someone with a valid counterbalance licence who takes pride in safe, accurate and efficient work.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate counterbalance forklift to load, unload and move goods safely
• Receive, check and stow incoming deliveries
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Carry out stock rotations and basic inventory checks
• Maintain accurate records using handheld scanners / warehouse systems
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and comply with health & safety procedures
• Assist with ad-hoc warehouse tasks as required

Skills and experience required:

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
• Good attention to detail and basic numeracy
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to manually handle loads (typically up to 25kg)
• Reliable, punctual and flexible with working hours

Hours and package:

• Full-time role; day shift with some flexibility required (occasional overtime possible)
• Competitive hourly rate paid weekly
