Location: Foston, Derbyshire
Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour
Contract: On Going Assignment
Our client, a leading beverage manufacturer based in Foston, Derbyshire, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Driver to join their production team on a temporary basis.
Working within the Raw Materials Department, you will be responsible for ensuring that four production lines are continuously supplied with the materials required to maintain efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities

• Operating an A2, D1 or D2 electric vehicle within the production facility.
• Delivering raw materials to production lines in a timely manner.
• Supplying essential materials including caps, preforms, labels and other production components.
• Monitoring stock levels and ensuring production lines remain fully stocked.
• Supporting production teams to minimise downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
• Adhering to all health, safety and site procedures.

Shift Pattern

• Monday 22 June & Tuesday 23 June: 08:00 – 16:00 (8-hour shifts)
• Thereafter, rotating 12-hour shifts:
  
  • Days: 05:50 – 18:00
  • Nights: 17:50 – 06:00
• Every third Saturday:
  
  • 05:50 – 12:00
  • Opportunity to work up to an additional 4 hours where production demands require.

Pay & Benefits

• £17.50 per hour

Candidate Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse or production experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• External Reach (D1&D2) and PPT License
• No previous beverage industry experience is required.
• Ability to work both day and night 12-hour shifts.
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Reliable, punctual and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
