Forklift Driver

Proactive Personnel are currently looking for a FLT Driver to start work in Wilpshire, BB1 area immediately.

Duties include:

• Understanding daily customers orders tickets and working out ways to package the products in the most effect way on pallets to reduce transport costs.
• Picking the products with the use of a FLT for the coils of pipe
• Picking any small fitting needed
• Using a pallet shrink wrapping machine
• Once orders are complete, loading onto wagons for dispatch
• Unloading wagons with FLT with any incoming materials and putting them away safety
• Keeping warehouse area’s clean and safe
• Daily stock checks of pipe and fitting
• Replenishing Stock levels
• During the day there will be times when you will be able to use our plastic welding machine to weld pipe together and add shoe ends to them.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in packing or warehouse environments is essential.
• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Must be multi skilled in terms of been able to spin several plates at a time
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and time keeping.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
• This is a physical role, so you need to me physically fit.
• Hold a Fort Lift Truck license
• Adhere to Health & Safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Having a minimum of 4 GCSE’s including English and Maths.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:00am- 17:00pm.

Pay is £12.71 an hour. Temporary - permanent contract for the right person.
